The Eric Marsh Foundation is a 501 C 3 Non Profit based in Prescott , Arizona. EMF was founded by Amanda Marsh, the Widow of Eric Marsh, Superintendent of the Granite Mountain Hotshots. The Eric Marsh Foundation for Wildland Firefighters has four donation programs: line-of-duty death, scholarships for new recruits to wildland fire academies, wildland firefighter and family medical expenses, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) therapy for firefighters.

The Will Hawkins Rookie Boots Fund helps rookie firefighters with the financial burden of purchasing the boots they need for the job. Will Hawkins Rookie Boots Fund’s mission is to reduce barriers to entry in the Wildland Firefighting occupation and improve the safety, comfort, health and financial position of new and returning seasonal firefighters by providing assistance in the purchase of boots needed to fight wildland fires. The Vision is to provide all first year rookie firefighters their first pair of high quality boots.
